Sur-Ron battery upgrade builds

Here are example builds we can quote. Each one is a starting point, and the pack can be changed to suit your bike.

• 81.4V 45Ah, 340A, in a 22S9P or 20S10P layout with Samsung cells, XT90 charge port and QS8 or QS10 discharge
• 72V 36Ah, 220A continuous, listed to fit Sur-Ron and Talaria frames
• 60V 50Ah, 220A continuous, for riders staying at stock voltage
• A matching charger is specified with the pack and confirmed in your quote
• Our packs use an ANT smart Bluetooth BMS, so you can monitor voltage and temperature in the ANT BMS app (iOS and Android).
• Cell options include EVE, Molicel and Samsung, depending on the build.
• Our packs use XT60 or XT90 connectors for charging and QS8 or QS10 for discharge. We can match your controller’s plug.

How the quote works

2. Tell us the bike or application, voltage, capacity or range you want, controller, max continuous and peak current, connectors and quantity.
3. Send photos and measurements (length, width, height) of the battery space, plus your postcode.
4. We spec the build and come back with a quote and turnaround. We quote every job, so there are no set prices.
5. Once you approve, the pack is built, then fitted at our workshop or sent to you by dangerous-goods road freight.

Shipping

Packs this size travel by dangerous-goods road freight, not Australia Post. You can also pick up your pack or have it fitted at our Sunshine Coast workshop.

FAQ

Will a higher-voltage pack work with my stock controller?

Not always. Battery voltage has to suit your controller. Tell us your controller in the quote and we’ll match the pack to it.

Which model years does it fit?

Tell us your model year and send photos of the battery bay. We confirm fit before quoting. Factory specs for the current model are on the official Light Bee X page.

Can you post the battery to me?

No. Packs this size are dangerous goods and Australia Post doesn’t carry them. We send them by dangerous-goods road freight, or you can pick up or have it fitted at our Sunshine Coast workshop.

Yes. We can supply a 72V Sur-Ron battery as a kit, with a matching charger and connectors to suit your controller. It’s built to spec, then fitted at our Sunshine Coast workshop or sent Australia-wide. A 72V pack needs a controller rated for 72V.
